Angel Ivanov will serve as Executive Director of the Investment Agency of Bulgaria (IAB). He currently holds the position of Deputy Executive Director.
Ivanov has many years of management experience in the state administration, including in the fields of investments, digitalization, European integration and as Head of the Trade and Economic Affairs Service (STEA) – Moscow. He was also an advisor on economic, social and European affairs to the Council of Ministers. In the private sector, his professional activities include foreign trade, the organization and management of business structures, as well as the sale of assets.
He holds a Master’s degree in “International Economic Relations“ at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) and the German High School in Lovech.
She speaks English, German and Russian.
By order of the Minister of Innovation and Growth, the current Executive Director of BAI Mila Nenova was dismissed from her post.
